I had FIFA 2005 on the Playstation 2, and it was WORLDS better than this piece of junk. The players are slow to react to the controller and pretty much only run up, down, left right, and in 45 degree diagnol lines. There is a second of lost time between pressing the button to shoot, and the actual shots that the players take.
Not quite on target. There are some exciting new players to choose from like Lulinha and Bojan, but don't bother buying this if you already have FIFA 2007.I would wait till 2009 is out. The difference in difficulty from amateur to semi-pro is like going from highschool to the MLS. FIFA 2008 PC is no different from FIFA 2007, except for the updated players and teams for the 2008 season. The gameplay is actually slightly worse in regards to switching players.
Players movements could seem a little ridged and shoudl improve. I hope to see more in the next edition. I play FIFA since 1994 and could not stop buying the yearly edition, so, I am not the best to write a review since I never tried other soccer games but also, not willing to do it. Features like chat during game and vote to leave a bad connection game still missing from newers versions. more soccer, lets podcast and others not in-game features. I simply love FIFA and since I grew up no much time to meet my folks, the ONLINE is my new tool to get at least 3 matches a day. AI engine is not that bad, but could be better.
Can't wait for 09 Love FIFA 08. It gets better every year, this is one of the best versions I have seen so far.
It's always better to play it with a gamepad, but the keyboard works fine as well. Well, first, the shipping was excellent. Then, the game's great.
